Yoda has the right idea. The twinkie part, that is. I am now in the midst of day THREE of the outlaw's visit. They are leaving tomorrow morning--early! Yippee!!!
Only one more night of ignoring my father-in-law's dorky comments. (ie. "Are you going to feed the baby?" Yes. That's why I have a bottle of formula in my hand and a baby in the other hand. "I am 100% certain that the housing market is going to tank in 2008-- I read it somewhere!" That's a good source. Can I quote you on that one? And finally, "The Chinese really know how to make rice! They are very clever." Thank you for shouting this out loud in a Chinese restaurant so the Asian staff can spit in our food before they bring it out. Apparently, you're not clever enough to keep your voice down.)
Unfortunately, we have to go to THEIR house over 4th of July weekend. For one week. Ugh. I will have to pre-pack lots of chocolate and take regular injections of sugar and caffeine. With luck, I can spend the week in a caloric haze. Maybe I should take photos and BLOG from their house? Sort of a spy-blog-from-hell.

I know what a pill your father-in-law can be! The Chinese comment really takes the proverbial cake--two billion Chinese can't be wrong!
Come to MY house for 4th of July instead! Let USMCMan take the kids and go to his parents' for a week. Heh! He'll be on his knees worshipping you for the Goddess that you truly are when you get back home!!
I agree with TIL. You should go out and see her just on general principal. Dodging the out-laws is just a better excuse.
I'm trapped into the 4th of July at the out-law's house because they outsmarted me...and invited MY parents to join us for a 4th of July cookout! Drat! Foiled again. I am putting a reunion plan into motion though...slowly but surely. They left early this morning-yea. I'm too pooped out to howl with glee. Maybe a yip of delight?
