*Gack* The Cruds Are Back.

I'm sick again.

I don't understand it--we wash hands constantly, use antibacterial gel when soap isn't available, and cover our mouths when we cough. BUT... Thing2 and I (and to some extent Thing1) are gacking our lungs out again. I have lost my voice and can only croak. We have eye goo oozing out of our tear ducts! Ewww!

I have a theory, though...
SHOPPING CARTS!

I think that since I do the shopping, and I take Thing2 with me, we are constantly touching dirty shopping carts and then being exposed to the germs. This theory is supported by the fact that Thing1 doesn't get sick as much (although he is surrounded by kids at preschool every day) and USMCMan is rarely sick as well. Just me and Thing2. Lucky us.

What do you think? Could the shopping carts be the culprits... or are we just weak seeds? Genetically unfit to survive in the germy world?

Well, I do my grocery shopping too, I don't wash my hands constantly, and I only use the gel after dealing with particularly nasty library patrons. All I got was the Czech Bird Flu. Soooo.....;-)

Poor Infomatrix, I'm gonna send you a present to cheer you up.

What really pisses me off is that USMCMan doesn't seem to catch it! Maybe I have anthrax. He's been innoculated for that, but I haven't...

XCircMan, if I let USMCMan do the main shopping, he'd come back with ten cans of Diet Coke and 32 protien powder packs. And that's it. Maybe a single roll of TP (and not the good stuff, either). He's not a shopper. In his behalf, if I give him a specific list, he does OK and he's a GREAT online shopper. He just sucks at everyday grocery shopping. Oh well.
