While shopping in the commissary (the military grocery store), I came across a new (for me) fruit. It's a sprite melon. They look like tiny honeydew melons, and taste very similar. Yummy! They're grown locally, and sold for about .60 each. If you ever see one in your grocery store or at a fruit stand, buy it! You won't be sorry.
Xcircman would be proud of me...I had sprite melon and boiled peanuts for lunch. Am I getting into the swing of local foods, or what?

You're just scaring me now. You need to get back out here to the west for a while!
Sounds like you are taking your Eastern adventure seriously. Good for you!
