Berry Nice!

Oh bliss! The strawberries are just coming into season here in NC. After months of not-so-great oranges and long-past-their-prime apples, the berry season begins again. Hooray!

I went out and picked today, which was fun. Yes, I admit, I happened to eat a few as I went along... to keep up my strength, you understand.

Tonight's menu: spinach and strawberry salad with strawberry shortcake for dessert! I may skip the main course and go right for the fruit.

Any suggestions for strawberry recipes? Maybe I can make some sort of liquor out of them!
