Today, I'm feeling sorry for men. It is painfully clear that reverse discrimination is rampant. Things that are shown/said in today's media about men would NEVER be said about women. For example, the morning "news" show--the Today Show-- segment called "Training Your Man Like You'd Train Your Dog". (Is nifty a leather leash outfit included? I hope not. That should be a treat, not a punishment.)
Can you imagine the feminine version? "Train Your Wife Like You'd Train Your Bitch!"
It would NEVER HAPPEN. Women would rise up and flambe the Today Show studios.
So that begs two questions: First, why do men put up with sexist nastiness? Second, why are women supporting and encouraging the same stupidity that we've been trying to quash for the last two-hundred years?
I thought the whole segment was stupid and demeaning. The really sad thing is that the woman who has written a book on this topic is now getting a television show where she will "train" other womens' husbands.
Walkies, anyone?

I think that VERY generally speaking men put up with it because they've been dishing it out so long that no one would take them seriously if they complained.
Which is not to say I think it's right. I think it's foul, disrespectful and annoying.
I can't imagine why it's acceptable to anyone.
